With Johnny Cash grunt, Elvis cool and a voice like raw velvet, it's no wonder audiences everywhere love Dan Sultan. His distinctive Australian rock and roll is spiked with blues, soul and country, played by the tightest seven piece on the road today.

Fresh from a new album release and a starring role in the film Bran Nue Dae, Dan brings his thumping, 'foot to the floor' sound and big voice back to Perth for the Perth Festival.

The Morning Night

Following a blazing guest performance with The Triffids in 2009, Adrian Hoffmann returns with The Morning Night. Influences include The Go-Betweens and Wilco. Their catchy guitar rifts with experimental organ and violin have got them invited to play with the likes of Jimmy Barnes, The Black Eyed Susans and The Fumes.

Emily Barker and The Red Clay Halo

Emily Barker and her all-female trio (violin, cello, accordion and flute) fill Beck's music box with an incredibly intimate sound that beautifully captures the quartet's virtuosity and charisma. A hit at Glastonbury, Cambridge Folk Festival and the Big Session, they tour Australian for the first time. **** Q Magazine

The intensity and energy he puts into every song is truly amazing. Another exceptional performance from Sultan and his clan. FASTER LOUDER  MORE >
