ELEANOR CATTON

Eleanor Catton received several prizes for her first novel, The Rehearsal, including the Society of Authors' Betty Trask Award 2009, and the 2008 Glenn Schaeffer Fellowship to the Iowa Writers' Workshop. The Rehearsal was also shortlisted for the 2009 Montana New Zealand Book Award for Fiction and longlisted for the Guardian First Book Award 2009.

Eleanor was born in Canada and raised in New Zealand. She is currently based in Iowa.
